The role of Operations Specialist

The role of Operations Specialist is new in the district and will support the operational operations to enable increased employee development through continuous improvements and reduced waste within our operational activities.

Creating conditions for our employees' development and ensuring our customers are satisfied is at the core of our mission as a company. As an Operations Specialist, you contribute by working operationally in our customer assignments and supporting the managers of the operations. You participate in larger startups and closures of assignments and support area managers and operations managers in the work of continuous development of our assignments. You work with quality assurance of working methods and deliveries.

The Operations Specialist in Uppsala/Västerås will report to the business support in the district.

What do you bring to the role?

We see that you have several years of experience in Samhall's operational activities with good results. You have successfully developed businesses and have good knowledge of our working methods, equipment, and systems. We would also like you to have broad experience from different types of operations in the past.

You will lead and develop your area of responsibility independently, which requires a strong ability to execute as well as a development-oriented approach. You enjoy learning new things and participating in change.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

· Broad experience of operational issues from various businesses

· Experience and knowledge of efficient operations and working methods according to Lean philosophy

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Experience with documentation, instructions, and good system familiarity

· High school diploma or higher education level

· B driver's license
